simple design of a Traditional hanbook

Displaying 4478_001.jpg

In this simple drawing i have incorporate the British traditions of the Victorian style as well as using Korean traditional hanbok style. through the two style i have made an infusion. i have done this, because i thought it would be beautiful to mesh the two styles. I love the high collar and the frillers that Victorians have and i love the short top and long skirt that the hanbok has

Hanbok! Everyone Loves Hanboks

I WASS SOO EXCITED TO TRY A HANBOK. IT WAS THE DREAM! (NO LIE)

At the end we had a fabulous catwalk, everyone had so much fun, showing off our beautiful hanboks!

we had a designer named - Injoo Lee and her lable is Moon Lee

who showed us what hanbok represent to her and what things in a hankbok inspires her!
and all her beautiful clothes have beautiful meanings behind it. A story where she shared through her clothes (hanboks)  i enjoyed what she had to offer through her unique designs!
please check her website!

아리랑 (Arirang)

Fist time being introduced to Korean traditional music. i have always wondered what music was before Kpop!

The music played in the you-tube clip, is the song we learnt as a group. we learnt the simple and delicate dance moves to go along with the song.

I still have this song in my head! its very peaceful!

The folk is music is definitely different to what i heard on a daily basics, but the soft instrumental and husky voices of the music gives the song texture and some-what comfort when listening to the song.

on the same day we had to perform this dance move with out fan, which kept on falling off my hand XD
I was nervous because i wasn't familiar with  Hangul pronunciation, but with the patience and reputation from the teacher. It was easy to pick up and i enjoyed dancing with my fan! The one i posted! (before hand)

Fan Art

At Kpop Academy. They suggested to draw a drawing on our fann. I was sooo excited that i did it asap when i had full off inspection. I originally wamted to do a japanese fish and have beautiful watercolors. However it wasnt possible as I didnt believe i had strong enough paints for that, so i chose my second idea of hanbok s.

Even gets me excited/ready for the Saturday to come where we get to dress in hanboks. Can. Not . Wait. Eeeek.

Week 2 ~ Calligraphy

Amazing so relaxting.

Something to pratice or  too take part more often!
Its very  hard to get the writing smoothly, but once i got the hand of it. I tried to copy the traditional korean writing font.

We learnt more of the korean writing and history behing hangul. Very interesting. I never knew that North and South korean has a different alphabet order!
King Sejong is an intellilect to structure the whole of the korean language! Unbelievable!

Presentation Take 2!

Hello!

After my presentation, I didn't feel like i have spoken much about myself! but just generic stuff, which is quite unfortunate as I'm usually active and not too shy!
People who said they were shy, stood up tall and gave an active more cheerful presentation. which inspired me to try again!
I felt like i shutter and I didn't even make sense, which left me useless tbh! Meh,
ANYWAYS...
I am now in my second year of university, studying 3D Design and Animation, which is hard. It is fun and games, as we do design game characters, but theirs so much to learn! I enjoy my course and hope to carry throughout my adulthood!
even though I do 3d animations, stuff such as Monster inc,toy story, you do not need to draw! but what even got me into animation was the fact I enjoy drawing, but I'm a very shy drawer. I would say! meaning I rarely draw in front of others, unless I am forced to draw around others, but through uni i have done life drawings, so i have broken some barries when it comes to drawing in front of my classmates.I don't like showing people my artwork till the end results because I dislike low-key judgment. Posting online is a problem aswell ,as I am an over-thinker in many ways. However today i will TEHEE! but don't judge too harshly! but also I believe I will get better at drawing through time and practice, that I want people to see my end results rather than my journey, but I have slowly learned to let that goooooo!

 pen                                  watercolor             pencil
There are plenty more drawing's I have done! these's are pretty old!The astronaut is a re-drawn vision of Pez work- great artists!

if you're wondering, probably not but I draw really fast and the astronaut took me 3 hours to draw!

Can someone teach me how to doodle?
